Looking to learn ballroom dancing but don't know where to start? Bradley Dance Freelance's Beginner Dance Classes are designed to nurture you from ground zero. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the basic steps and techniques of popular ballroom dances such as Waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz.
In addition to standard ballroom dances, we also cover Latin-American styles such as Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive. And if Cuban Salsa or Argentine Tango is more your style - we've got you covered! With our American Smooth class or Everything Strictly course - there's something for everyone.

Our beginner ballroom dance classes offer a comprehensive introduction to the exciting world of ballroom dancing. Led by our experienced instructors, you will learn the basics of popular dances such as the Waltz, Foxtrot, and Rumba. You will gain a solid foundation in the fundamental techniques and steps. These classes are suitable for anyone with a desire to learn ballroom dancing, regardless of prior experience or skill level.
Our classes cover a range of dance styles, including Standard / Ballroom, Latin-American, Cuban Salsa / Bachata / Lambada, Argentine Tango, American Smooth, and Everything Strictly. With our guidance, you will learn correct posture, footwork, and partnering techniques, and develop the ability to lead or follow with confidence.
Our beginner dance classes typically take 6 months to 2 years of consistent practice to progress up to Improvers level. We start by teaching solo dance steps before introducing mechanics like how to hold and embrace a partner. This way you build an understanding of the basic steps before moving on.You'll also learn the history and origins of each dance style and become aware of music while learning ballroom and Latin with confidence. Our instructors will introduce you to each dance style's character, mood, and postural alignment so that you can tell a story through your movements.
To participate, you'll only need comfortable clothing and shoes that are easy to move in. Our beginner ballroom dance classes are designed to be a fun and relaxed environment, perfect for meeting new people and having fun while learning.
We recommend dedicating six months to two years of religious practice to progress to the Improvers level. However, our classes are structured to accommodate learners of all paces. Our expert instructors will adjust their teaching style to help each individual student learn and progress at their own pace. No, you do not need any prior dance experience to join our classes. Our classes are designed for individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement. For footwear, it's best to wear dance shoes or shoes with a smooth sole that allow you to pivot and move easily.
